Episode 57 - Tarocchi

10Oct

Hello again witches, seekers, and friends, and welcome to The Fat Feminist Witch podcast, the show where we do a little ranting, raving, and wand-waving. I’m your host, Paige, and together we are going to explore magic and spirituality, social justice, the psychic realm, and most importantly – the arcane art of tarot.

Today I'm sharing some of the history of tarot's origins, the ways it's used, different style decks, and distance readings. I review Madame Pamita's Magical Tarot and give it 5 crystal balls, and also talk about fortune-telling with playing cards.

The two cards I draw are The Moon and the 3 of Cups.

Some of the big names in tarot's history for you to learn more about:

Antoine Court de Gébelin

Etteilla

Hermes Trismegistus

Mlle Marie-Anne Adelaide Lenormand

 Éliphas Lévi

 Pamela Colman Smith

 Arthur Edward Waite

 Hermetic Qabalah
